The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation accepts President Reagan’s Air Force One (SAM 27000) in a decommissioning ceremony in San Bernadino, California.

January, 2002:
Conceptual drawings get underway to develop the Reagan Library’s new Air Force One Pavilion.

March 19, 2003:
President Johnson’s Marine One arrives at the Reagan Library.

May, 2003:
The Boeing Company disassembles SAM 27000.

June 20, 2003:
SAM 27000 is trucked to the Reagan Library.
