Tour Guides

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is open seven days a week, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. We are only closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. All parking is free. Due to the number of people who can physically tour through Air Force One in any given hour, on peak visitation days the Library has sometimes had to stop admitting people into the Museum as early as 2:00 p.m. to ensure every visitor can tour the aircraft before the Library's closing time of 5:00 p.m. On holidays and three-day weekends, we recommend you arrive at the Library early, or call ahead to see if it will close early. We thank you for your understanding. Peak visitation days vary throughout the year, but often include the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's, as well as Veteran's Day, Presidents' Day and July 4th.

Individual visits

Admission tickets for individual visits can be purchased on site at the Reagan Library. Tickets do not need to be purchased in advance and no reservations are required. Tours are self-guided, however knowledgeable docents are stationed throughout the museum to assist you during your visit.

Group visits

Group visits can be done in a variety of ways. All groups of 20 or more are expected to pre-arrange their visits with our visitors’ center. Group visitors are offered special services. In order to obtain group visitor status, groups must use one form of payment for the entire group. If you plan to visit with a group of 20 or more people and would like a docent-led tour, please call the Tour Desk at (800) 410-8354, ext. 5, to schedule tour guides for your group. Each person in your group will be charged an additional $3 for the docent-led tour. Groups who would prefer to self-tour (without a docent) may do so on their own, or by advance purchasing the Library's audio tours. Audio tours, which are $5 per person at the Library's admission desk, can be pre-purchased for groups of 20 or more people at $2 per person. The advance purchase must be done through the Tour Desk at the same phone number listed above. Your tour group may also get a specialized tour group menu from the café. School visits

Pre-arranged k-12 school tours are free for primary and secondary students and one adult (including teachers, aides, parents and other adults) for each ten students.
